Dr Mark Bowes will be presenting a session – “Minimally invasive dentistry: what’s really important” – in the BACD Aesthetic and Digital Dentist Theatre at the British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show 2018.
“Minimally invasive techniques have become the gold standard for the modern restorative practice,” he says. “My lecture will cover the treatment concepts of tooth wear with an emphasis on minimally invasive dentistry. Function, aesthetics and biology will influence both simple and more complex cases of tooth wear from diagnosis through to planning and treatment.
“I hope that delegates will leave my lecture with a better understanding of the multidisciplinary approach that is essential when treating these everyday tooth wear cases. They should gain some useful tips on diagnosis and prevention of tooth wear, as well as information on when direct and indirect restorations are most appropriate. In addition, I will explore the long-term maintenance techniques for these types of cases.”

The British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show 2018 will be held on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th May at the NEC in Birmingham, co-located with DTS.
