He will be delivering “Congratulations, you have just inherited someone else’s dental implants – now what?” on Friday 18thMay.
“My session will be a guide for general dental practitioners who have little or no experience with dental implants,” he says. “I hope to help them develop the knowledge needed to recognise when existing dental implants require attention and to take care of them for the future. This will involve understanding the ideal environment for long-term success and what to do when something fails either gradually or catastrophically.
“Delegates should gain some confidence in being able to understand implant-related problems. As such, they should be able to deal with minor problems themselves, but also know where to go for help when trying to resolve more complex implant problems.”
