“The lack of such support for dental hygienists in practice has been a long-standing issue. I will share the findings of a recent BSDHT study into the extent of dental nursing support for dental hygienists in the UK. The survey offers greater insight into the issue and what people think about it. I hope to help dispel some of the myths that exist around the topic and provide evidence to support delegates’ requests for any changes in their practices.”
